Design that Breaks the Snooze Button

Sidney is from rural Ohio, born to a family of educators who’ve fostered her creative inclinations and multifaceted passions. They pushed her to get involved in varying activities such as dance, softball, volleyball and golf. Although not the most competitive player, she was always ready to cheer for her teammates and put a smile on someone’s face.

In her youth, she enjoyed creating with anything she could get her hands on. Sidney would tell you that she owes her creativity to DIY YouTubers, music videos and her first iPod Touch. She spent many late nights writing short stories, and making fanart.

Like many designers in her field, high school yearbook was a major turning point for Sidney. While contemplating going into photography, a new door opened in her junior year. She excelled as a novice spread designer in the class, and discovered an untapped potential as she was decided the head editor by her supervisors at 17 years old.

Throughout college, Sidney supported herself in the service and hospitality industry. These experiences gave her first-hand opportunities to interact with people and develop professional, communication skills on a personable level.

Sidney’s dream job would be to assist growing artists with graphic art and elevating their brands. She also hopes to continue developing multidisciplinary projects in photo, film, and writing.

After graduating college in Spring 2026, Sidney plans to move to Chicago with her cats Hazel and 8ball.
